The IAU Office of Astronomy for Development is an official nominator of the £1 million Earthshot Prize. The Earthshot Prize is a global prize and platform for impact that was designed to find and grow the solutions that will repair our planet this decade.
The IAU OAD is looking for projects or organisations to nominate to the 2025 prize. We are interested in astronomy/space-oriented climate projects as well as other projects. If you have a solution that is inspiring, inclusive and impactful, please complete the form below.
a) Eligible projects should make progress towards at least one of the 5 Earthshots (Protect and Restore Nature; Clean our Air; Revive our Oceans; Build a Waste-Free World; and Fix our Climate) &
b) The solution should be beyond idea/concept stage with demonstrated environmental impact to date
If we select your project, we will work with you to submit the nomination.
