A fire destroyed the Ninho das Águias Community Library, located in the community of Pavão, in the neighbourhood of Copacabana (RJ) in Brazil. The library has carried out important actions, since 2011, for children and young people in the region, including hosting the Closer to the Sky project funded by the IAU OAD. The project team and the library are seeking support to rebuild the community library.

For so many years, we have been doing fundamental work promoting culture, social inclusion, popular education and local belonging at the Ninho das Águias Community Library. It was recently destroyed by a fire AND WE NEED your HELP! Now it’s time to rebuild the space from scratch, so collaborate with our crowdfunding and share to reach more people.

Um incêndio destruiu a Biblioteca Comunitária Ninho das Águias, localizado na comunidade do Pavão, no bairro de Copacabana(RJ). O projeto social realiza importantes ações, desde 2011, para as crianças e jovens da região .
