East African ROAD country representatives and a large number of East African young astronomers, researchers attended the Sub-Saharan Africa Astronomy Summer School (SSAASS) in Uganda from 19-30 Sept 2022

Official visit to LAO PDR by SEAROAD led by the Minister of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation. The visit included the courtesy call granted by the Prime Minister of LAO PDR and the planetarium and observatory being-built in Vientiane which is inspired by SEAROAD
SEA+ Translation project continues in Cambodia and Timor-Leste. This project is aimed to encourage the people in SEA region and beyond to get the astronomy booklets in their own languages.
The ITCA Colloquium workshop co-hosted by SEAROAD and Vietnam National Space Center (VNSC) titled “Astronomy and Space Technology for STEAM Education” took place in Da Nang, Vietnam during 23-25 September 2022

The office collaborates with the North American ROAD on the SEA Survey project which provides students the opportunity to conduct remote observing with the 0.5-meter Stone Edge Observatory telescope.
